Big Book of Short Plays – 35 Five-Minute Tiger Tuesday Reading Program Plays
Available as a digital download, the Big Book of Short Plays is a collection of 35 five-minute plays based on the Tiger Tuesday® Reading Program. They provide children with opportunities to practice and apply their Orton-Gillingham based phonics skills with a carefully controlled vocabulary.
It’s important that children read—not memorize—their parts, thus providing practice to improve fluency. Also, children are invited (optionally) to dress-up as the characters, and create background scenery and props for each play.
Reading these plays is especially helpful in teaching ESOL/ENL students and those with learning disabilities including: dyslexia, ADHD and language disorders.
