Professional Development

New Ideas Rooted in Proven Methods

At Strong Learning we recognize that student success in the classroom starts with a knowledgeable, well-rounded teacher.  We developed the Strong Learning Method after years of research and working directly with students both in and out of the classroom environment.  In fact, we continue to test our methods daily and evolve them as student needs change.  We strive to deliver professional development courses that can make a direct impact on the students in a classroom, and educators in any discipline including reading, math, and history will find valuable take-aways that can be applied immediately in the classroom.

The Strong Learning Method lowers student anxiety, keeps students’ attention and provides purposeful, playful practice. It is based on the fact that it is essential to engage students, and most of all keep them engaged, in order for learning to happen.

We have successfully delivered our professional development through organizations including the Westchester-Putnam Boces, NYS TESOL (English as a Second Language), Everyone Reading NYC, and the International Dyslexia, both online and in-person.
